1) The role of fingerprint-resistant Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil processing

Fingerprint-resistant Aluzinc Galvalume Steel Coil treatment coats the surface of the galvalume sheet with an extremely thin, transparent organic resin film, which can prevent the operator's fingerprints from adhering to the product during the production and processing of the galvalume sheet and affecting the appearance of the product. At the same time, it can also improve the product's corrosion resistance, improve the lubricity during forming and processing, and serve as an adhesive base for subsequent coatings.

2) Fingerprint-resistant galvalume steel coil coating

The coating of fingerprint-resistant galvalume steel coils is best carried out after passivation to work with the passivation film to give the product a good appearance and corrosion resistance.

Many water-soluble resins can be used as fingerprint-resistant coatings, such as acrylic resin, polyurethane resin, etc. Acrylic resin has light color, high transparency, good heat resistance, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and processability. It also has strong adhesion to galvanized sheets and is widely used in fingerprint-resistant coatings. Polyurethane resin has strong corrosion resistance and is widely used.

3) Film formation process of fingerprint-resistant galvanized steel coils

The fingerprint-resistant galvalume steel coil coating is applied on the surface of the galvalume sheet using roller coating. The organic resin in the coating is suspended in the water phase as tiny particles. When dried, the water gradually evaporates, and the volume shrinks. These dispersed polymer particles gradually approach each other, and the capillary pressure existing between the particles forces the particles to squeeze. As the evaporation of water proceeds, the pressure continues to increase, causing the particles to deform, and finally, the particles merge to form a continuous organic film. Therefore, the drying temperature and time after fingerprint-resistant treatment are very important; otherwise, the coating film will be poorly cured, and the layers of galvalume sheets inside the steel coil will bond. Generally, the coating film thickness is about 1 μm, and the plate temperature is about 110°C during drying and then cooled to room temperature for coiling.

4) Composition of fingerprint-resistant galvalume steel roll film

The fingerprint-resistant galvalume steel coil film is divided into a reaction layer, a concentrated layer, and a lubricating layer, giving the fingerprint-resistant film corrosion resistance, lubricity, fingerprint resistance, adhesion, and other properties.

After the passivation liquid is applied to the surface of the galvalume sheet and dried, the film formation process is divided into four stages:

Stage I: Wet film coating: the active ingredients are evenly dispersed in the water medium;

Stage II: volatilization of unbound water in the wet film;

Stage III: Detachment of the dispersant on the surface of the resin latex particles → fusion between the particles;

Stage IV: Ideal film-forming state, with the combined water/dispersant completely detached and the particles fully cross-linked and integrated
